Performs intermediate level compliance investigations through research, analysis, and reporting by exercising independent judgment on standard and non-complex substantive consumer compliance topics and activities. Executes processes, procedures, and workflows that contribute toward the effective and efficient operation of the compliance program. Engages stakeholders to understand data methodology, reviews and interprest data to draw conclusions and offer credible challenge along with promoting the use of data analytics and related tools. Oversees the continuity and accuracy of compliance systems.
- Contributes toward risk assessments, monitoring and testing, regulatory change management activities, artifact and marketing reviews, complaint management and other compliance program activities. Responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for various lines of business to ensure regulatory compliance within the Fulton Financial Corporation. Perform compliance related investigations through research including internal fact-finding and peer analysis with comparable banks and market demographics. Utilize analysis to prepare reports for observing trends and market standing to contribute toward making recommendations to lines of business and senior management.
- Responsible to ensure internal controls within compliance systems operate appropriately. Performs quality assurance or quality control reviews within compliance systems. Keep superiors and peers informed of the status of work and escalate matters as necessary. Drafts and prepares reports.
- Catalogs or completes data entry within the issue management tracker or compliant management database. Contributes toward the preparation of regulatory examinations and internal audits.
Education
Experience
Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. (Required)
1 or more years Risk, compliance, audit, or equivalent experience. (Required)
6 months Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. (Required)
This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. This includes but is not limited to, understanding and identifying compliance risks impacting their department(s), ensuring compliance with applicable laws or regulations, and escalating compliance risks to the appropriate level of management.
